Julie Ndaya Tshiteku

I am anthropologist (PHD Erasmus University Rotterdam and African Studies  Center Leiden The Netherlands 2008).

My  research focuses on the dynamics of identity transformation among Congolese women and children within the framework of religious social movements within the Congolese churches in the context of the Diaspora and also in Congo.

I am teacher of cultural/religious anthropology at the University of Kinshasa and also partime teacher at the  Institut Africain des Sciences de la Mission IASMI/Kinshasa.

I am a member of  the  Laboratoire de l’anthropologie prospective in Congo, member of the Congolese interdisciplinary network over the role of religion in social integration, member of the association of africanists in Leiden/ The Netherlands.
