Bandeja YAMBA is a public servant with the Canadian Department of Justice. He has a Ph. D. in African History and has taught African history at the University of Quebec at Montreal, and at the University of Ottawa. He also taught history of the Islam World at the University of Quebec at Rimouski. His research interests concern the current political conflicts and the political process of the transitional justice in Central Africa. He has published several articles regarding the political and economic history of Central Africa in addition articles concerning the state of African Studies in Canada.
